London, 1815 Artist Blood flows in the veins of Carlotta, who once replaced his father as a wonderful fresco painter in the house of a wealthy aristocrat. Now, however, that his talent is hidden under the robes he wears during the London season. Everybody thinks she's the same old opportunist looking for a rich husband. I also thought Luke, disappointed to find it so different from the seductive artist who had so fascinated. But as so often appearances can be deceiving, and it will be the mystery hidden behind a painting to put into question the certainties of both.
